For our latest Monthly Muse, we sat down with model and creator Roberta Pecoraro, who, after over a decade in the modelling industry, is now adding chef to her resume.
Raised in a lively Italian household where food was the heartbeat of every gathering, she discovered her love for cooking perched beside her mum and Nonna, tasting sauces straight from the pot and recreating recipes after school. Years later, that same curiosity and instinct shape the way she entertains — vibrant, generous, and inspired by Mediterranean simplicity.
Roberta has built a career defined by cool confidence and quiet versatility, with 11 years spent behind the camera including years living and working in New York. Whether reminiscing about unforgettable shoots or favourite downtown restaurant haunts, Roberta brings the same effortless energy to fashion as she does to food. Long time friend of The Wolf Gang, we sat down with Roberta to pick her brain on her favourite recipes, restaurants and shoots, as well as who's on the top of her dinner invite list.
When did you discover your love for cooking?
Growing up in an Italian house hold, food has always taken centre stage with any occasion - big or small. At a young age, I found myself hovering over my mum or Nonna whilst they cooked. Asking questions and tasting what was being prepared, to then go and test it out for myself on those evenings after school, when mum was still at work.
Where do you draw inspiration from when preparing a dinner party menu?
After looking through the Wolf Gangs collection, I thought a Mediterranean menu would work perfectly, keeping things vibrant and fresh, just like the collection.

What is your go-to easy but crowd pleasing recipe?
My friends always love it when I cook them fish, grilled on the stove until the skin becomes crispy and then dressed in a fresh but punchy parsley, caper and chilli gremolata. A few pantry staples can go along way.
Describe your personal style in 3 words?
Id like to think my style is effortless, minimal, cool…but who knows

What are your handbag essentials?
I've recently become a fan of lip liners so that and my lip balms are always in my bags.
You have spent time modelling in NYC - what is your favourite NYC restaurant?
I might have to say Cervos, in LES (Lower East Side). The food is constantly delicious, hence why you always have to wait for a table. And it being in Times Square makes it all that more enjoyable. Grab a table outside, enjoy a glass (or bottle) of orange wine, order the Prawns A la Plancha, all whilst the sun is setting over the city skyline.

You are both an incredible cook and full time model, what has been your favourite shoot to date?
Its been 11 years now since I started modelling so it's hard to narrow it down. But one that always stands out to me was a few years back. ‘Cool pretty cool’ did a story on me, where Natalia Parsonson shot it and Peter Simon Phillips styled it. I was dressed in Gucci, Prada, Miu Miu, Acne etc, whilst wearing a long wig, just like Cher. I was sooooo happy when those images came out!
Dead or Alive - which 3 people are you inviting to dinner?
- Anthony Bourdain! Huge fan
- Kathy Hilton - i think she’s hilarious on Real Housewives
- Phoebe Buffay - as the friends character
What is your favourite Wolf Gang piece?
The dress I’m wearing at our Plated by Roberta x TWG dinner - Oahu slip dress!
