Our commitment

The Wolf Gang is for everyone. We want every member of our community — whatever their abilities and however they browse — to be able to explore our collections, find their size, and check out with ease. We are committed to making thewolfgang.com accessible and we treat that as ongoing work, not a box to tick.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Australian Human Rights Commission under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, and the benchmark that satisfies the European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549), the UK Equality Act 2010, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Our site currently conforms partially with this standard, and we are actively working to close the gaps.

What we do

  • Build on an accessible storefront foundation and review our customisations against WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Run automated accessibility checks alongside manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers across the full shopping journey, from browsing to checkout
  • Provide descriptive alternative text for product imagery, visible focus indicators, and forms with clear labels and error messages
  • Review new features, third-party tools, and theme updates for accessibility impact before they go live
  • Prioritise and fix accessibility issues as part of our regular development work

Display & reading preferences

Look for the accessibility button in the bottom corner of every page. It opens display options you can tailor to your needs — larger text, increased spacing, contrast and colour adjustments, a dyslexia-friendly typeface, reduced motion, reading aids, and read-aloud. These are convenience settings layered on top of the site; they save automatically and follow you as you browse.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some content provided by third-party services (such as customer reviews, social media galleries, and payment providers) may not meet the same standard
  • Some older images and videos may have incomplete alternative text or captions
  • Occasional issues may appear when new features or third-party updates are released, and we work to resolve them quickly

Compatibility

thewolfgang.com is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox) on desktop and mobile, and with assistive technologies including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack.

If you need help placing an order in the meantime, our customer care team can assist you directly.
