How to care for beaded & embellished pieces

Beading, sequins, studs, fringing and crochet are applied by hand. They're the detail that makes a piece special — and a gentle touch is all it takes to keep them looking their best.

Spot clean first

Wherever possible, spot clean by hand rather than washing the whole piece.

Hand wash inside out, gently

If it needs more, turn inside out and hand wash in cold water, very gently, to protect the embellishment.

Lay flat to dry

Dry flat away from direct heat. Never tumble dry — heat loosens beading and sequins.

Store flat, away from rougher fabrics

Keep embellished pieces flat or loosely folded, separate from coarser garments so nothing snags.
